Hi, I’m Bryant Wood
I founded The Travel Boutique to craft vacations with care for clients who want to explore confidently, knowing all the details are meticulously taken care of for them.
My Story
I have my parents to thank for my endless wanderlust. They encouraged me to go to college out of state—they knew before I did how much I needed to explore away from home. And rather than put me on the typical “senior cruise” to Mexico after high school, they sent me off to Europe for a backpacking adventure.
Once I got a taste, I wanted more—in a big way (thanks, Mom and Dad!). I studied abroad in Italy, lived in Ireland and Scotland, and once I finally moved back to the states, crisscrossed the U.S. as much as I could. I found so much joy in discovery across borders and languages, and knew I wanted to share that with others.
Embracing Discovery
After my career in teaching and then in clean beauty, where I planned large group retreats for my fellow team members and served thousands of clients over nine years, I founded The Travel Boutique—because that urge to explore has never really let go. Now, I help curious travelers like you step outside their bubbles and embrace the joy of discovery—without having to do any of the time-consuming research and planning themselves.
While I haven’t been everywhere—yet!—I have cultivated relationships with travel partners around the globe. You’ll get an “insider” experience wherever you want to go along with concierge service, seamless logistics, and VIP touches.
Fast forward to where I am now in my life. My supportive husband, Bernard, and I have three children, who also love to travel—and who are more adventurous than we can sometimes handle! Through The Travel Boutique, I also aim to set an example for my children, so they can see me fully enjoying the work that I do to help support our family. They know how much it thrills me to design trips for my clients, and I hope they will one day find something that brings them as great a joy as this does for me.

Alicia Searcy
Alicia is a travel designer at The Travel Boutique. She loves working with other “wanderlusty souls” who prioritize experiences over things, and who know that personalized details make all the difference. Alicia was first bitten by the travel bug while backpacking across Europe after college. Since then, she’s relocated to California with her husband Stephen, hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, visited 15+ countries around the globe, and traveled across the U.S.—often with her two kids in tow!
Alicia brings her research skills and attention to detail that she honed over 20+ years in sales and operations to every client project. She takes a client-first approach to travel planning, using your personal tastes and preferences as her guide rails. With her worldwide industry relationships and “boots on the ground” approach to scouting out the very best travel experiences, Alicia will help you feel like a savvy local wherever you go.
Meet The Team
Stephanie Jones
Stephanie worked previously in the Client & Advisor Care Coordinator role at The Travel Boutique and is now transitioning to the role of travel advisor. In college, she spent a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain, where she found a passion for all things food, restaurants, and culinary experiences that earned her the nickname “Chef Steph.” One of her favorite parts of itinerary creation is researching and booking special dinners and food and wine-focused excursions for her clients where they can “dine with intention.”
Steph has traveled to 30+ countries around the world and loves sharing her destination expertise with her clients. She excels at imbuing her clients’ itineraries with the perfect balance of experiential activities and relaxation. With her background as a scuba instructor, Steph is also adept at planning water-based vacations, and she has a special focus on the Caribbean islands of St. Maarten and St. Barths.
Kristin Flewelling
Travel is in Kristin's genes—literally. As the daughter of a retired flight attendant, Kristin’s love for exploring new destinations and cultures has been a part of her life from the very beginning. Kristin believes life is all about taking the trip, and she specializes in crafting unforgettable milestone travel experiences that celebrate life's special moments, big and small. With over 20 years of experience in customer service, Kristin brings a client-first focus to every journey she plans. She prides herself on uncovering unique travel experiences that her clients can’t find elsewhere, all while illuminating the rich culture and history of each destination.
Kristin grew up in the picturesque Texas Hill Country and now calls Dallas home, where she resides with her husband, two daughters, and her beloved Boston Terrier. Kristin loves spending time with her family in the Colorado mountains, embracing the great outdoors through skiing, hiking, and running.
Caroline Jones
Caroline’s innate curiosity and love of learning make her an exceptional travel advisor at The Travel Boutique. Her passion for travel was ignited during a year spent studying abroad in Europe and flourished as she and her husband organized adventure programs in the Caribbean. Their journeys have taken them from the Galapagos to South Africa, Central America, Egypt, and most recently Asia. To date, Caroline has explored over 45 countries, with many more on the horizon!
Caroline excels at designing luxurious travel experiences that blend education, adventure, and unique cultural encounters. Her commitment to building personal relationships with clients, coupled with her meticulous attention to detail, ensures that every itinerary she creates feels bespoke and deeply meaningful. Caroline and her family are avid sailors and scuba divers and can often be found by or on the water, enjoying their latest adventure aboard their catamaran.
Claire Haden
Claire is an advisor at The Travel Boutique whose travel passion was ignited by her adventurous parents. From road trips across the U.S. to her first international experiences in Israel and Europe, these journeys shaped her love for exploring. Her extensive travels through Europe and time living in Russia further deepened her appreciation for diverse cultures.
Claire’s areas of focus as an advisor include Europe, family and multigenerational journeys, and providing expert advice on managing food allergies abroad. Through her personal experience managing her celiac disease as well as her child’s food allergies while traveling, Claire is adept at creating safe and deeply tailored vacations for her clients. As an Enneagram 9, her empathy, patience, and calm demeanor allow her to handle her clients’ unique needs and challenges with grace.
Kellie Bourque
Kellie is The Travel Boutique's marketing director and social media manager. As The Travel Boutique's creative force, Kellie meticulously curates our Facebook and Instagram pages, transforming them into digital portals of wanderlust and travel inspiration. Her innate understanding of our brand identity shines through in every graphic, photo, and caption, as she effortlessly combines aesthetic appeal with meaningful storytelling. Kellie constantly seeks innovative ways to engage our audience, fostering a vibrant community of travel enthusiasts. She understands the power of meaningful connections and leverages her expertise to interact with our followers, creating a sense of belonging and sparking conversations that go beyond the screen.
Amy Murtha
Amy is The Travel Boutique’s Virtual Assistant—a.k.a. our lifesaver. Amy’s strength is keeping the term organized and on target as we research and design your perfect trip; it’s no wonder she’s an Enneagram 2! As a travel industry specialist, she’s working behind the scenes on data entry, invoicing, and building beautiful proposals. With Amy’s help, we’re able to focus 100% on the most important part of our job: YOU.
